April 24, 2024 - Fargo - The Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks added another player to the 2024 roster late Tuesday with the addition of outfielder Yoelqui Céspedes . Yoelqui (pronounced yo-EL-key) Céspedes - whose half-brother Yoenis appeared in 834 MLB games between 2012 and 2020 - is a 26-year-old originally from Yara, Cuba. April 17, 2024 - KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A first-round pick with major-league experience is joining the Kansas City Monarchs for 2024. Blake Rutherford, whom the Yankees drafted 18th overall in 2016 and played in the big leagues for the Washington Nationals in 2023, has signed a contract with the reigning American Association champions. April 16, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced the signing Tuesday of Canadian right-handed relief pitcher Nick Trogrlic-Iverson. He becomes the fourth Canadian on the Goldeyes' roster, joining pitchers Landen Bourassa (Lethbridge, Alberta) and Travis Seabrooke (Peterborough, Ontario), and outfielder Adam Hall (Lucan, Ontario).
