Blue Jackets Assign Trey Fix-Wolansky, Malcolm Subban to Monsters

April 15, 2024 - CLEVELAND - The AHL's Cleveland Monsters, top affiliate of the NHL's Columbus Blue Jackets, announced Monday that the Blue Jackets assigned forward Trey Fix-Wolansky and goaltender Malcolm Subban to Cleveland. In 11 appearances for Columbus this season, Fix-Wolansky registered 2-1-3 with two penalty minutes and added 24-34-58 with 42 penalty minutes and a +17 rating in 55 appearances for the Monsters. Subban went 0-1-0 with a 3.00 goals-against average (GAA) and .914 save percentage (S%) in one appearance for the Blue Jacket... Full Story

Monsters Fall to Rocket 5-1

April 13, 2024 - CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Monsters fell to the Laval Rocket 5-1 on Saturday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse. With the loss, the Monsters are now 37-24-5-3 and are currently in third place in the AHL's North Division standings. The Rocket scored the lone goal of the first period from Lucas Condotta at 4:06 leaving the Monsters trailing 1-0 after 20 minutes. Monsters Clinch Playoff Berth with 6-4 Win Over Rocket

April 11, 2024 - CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Monsters beat the Laval Rocket 6-4 on Thursday night at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse clinching a spot in the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. With the win, the Monsters are now 37-23-5-3 and are currently in second place in the AHL's North Division standings.
