Goldeyes Add Canadian Reliever

April 16, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced the signing Tuesday of Canadian right-handed relief pitcher Nick Trogrlic-Iverson. He becomes the fourth Canadian on the Goldeyes' roster, joining pitchers Landen Bourassa (Lethbridge, Alberta) and Travis Seabrooke (Peterborough, Ontario), and outfielder Adam Hall (Lucan, Ontario). Catcher García Returning to Goldeyes

April 10, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced the signing Wednesday of catcher Kevin García. The 31-year-old rejoins the Goldeyes after spending the past three seasons in the Mexican League with the Pericos de Puebla, the Acereros de Monclova, and the Aguila de Veracruz. García played 127 games for Winnipeg over the 2018 and 2019 seasons, combing for a .246 batting average with 18 doubles, five home runs, and 51 runs batted in. Goldeyes Re-Sign Starter Matulovich

April 8, 2024 - WINNIPEG, MB - The Winnipeg Goldeyes announced they have re-signed right-handed starting pitcher Joey Matulovich Monday. A native of Walnut Creek, California, Matulovich (pronounced mah-TOO-loh-vitch) joined the Goldeyes during the first week of the 2023 campaign and finished the season with a 5-9 record and a 3.93 earned run average in 20 starts.
